Chaturanga Privacy Policy

This document applies to the Chaturanga Applications in Apple Store and Google Play.

Here in Chaturanga we care about your privacy. When you use our mobile apps you share some of your your personal information so this document describes the following questions:

Thanks to the information shared by you we help you communicate with Advisors. The Chaturanga Terms of service describe the use of Chaturanga Services. Remember that your use of Chaturanga apps constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Terms.

1. What we collect and why?

Chaturanga is a marketplace connecting advice-seekers and Advisors (astrologers) via text messages. We collect information to provide you the best experience when you use Chaturanga products. Below you can see all cases when we collect your information and why:

  1. After installation of the App you share your personal information: name, gender, email, birth date, time and place. Thanks to that information we can contact you with Advisors and they can help you better, according to your personality.
  2. Chatting to Advisors. While doing this, you can also share and receive some personal information.
  3. Contact with our support team.

If you provide us personal information about others or if others give us your information, we will use it only for the specific reasons it was provided for (like compatibility chart) We may also collect some additional technical info to be sure that our App works properly on different devices and OS: – device type and model, operating system, user behaviour while using Chaturanga App. The information about your location may be also collected to ensure right timing and to offer relevant services.

When you contact us, we may keep a record of this communication to help solve faster any issues you might be facing later. We may also use your email address to inform you about any upcoming changes.

Chaturanga may transfer your data and process it on servers in different countries around the world. When you contact us or initiate a chat, we may provide you with support from one of our locations outside your country. In this case, your personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

2. When we share your information

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations, and individuals outside of Chaturanga unless one of the following is applies:

We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners – like publishers, advertisers or connected sites. For example to show trends about the general use of Counsellor Services. If Chaturanga is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of any personal information and give affected users notice before personal information is disclosed or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

3. How you can update or delete your personal data

You control the all information you shared with us. We provide you ways to update it quickly – unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can review, update, export and delete your information from Chaturanga. Updating your profile is available directly in the App and to delete chat messages or the profile you are requested to contact our support team via Customer Support link in the App.

4. How we protect your personal data

We work hard to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure or destruction. We follow best general standards to store and protect the personal data we collect, including applying of encryption where appropriate. Anyone who has access to your information in order to process it is subject to contractual obligations and may be terminated if they fail to comply with it.

This Privacy Policy applies to Chaturanga services in the Apple AppStore and Google Play. If European Union data protection law applies to the processing of your personal data, Chaturanga company provides the controls described in the Chaturanga Privacy Policy to let you exercise your right to request an access, update or removal of your information. You have the right to object to the processing of your information or export your information to another service.

Reservation of rights

Chaturanga reserves the right to amend the Privacy Policy at any time. Amendments will be effective upon the posting of such updated Privacy Policy at this location or the amended policies or supplemental terms on the applicable Services. Without your consent, Chaturanga will not limit your rights under this Privacy Policy. If you keep using Chaturanga after policy update it means your consent to be bound by the Privacy Policy, as amended. If you do not agree to the update of the Privacy Policy, please stop using Chaturanga services.
